No Infringement Intended Podcast: Introduction
Hosts: Austin Padgett and Rusty Close
Recorded: October 3, 2024

Austin:

Hey, folks out there. This is Austin Padgett and my colleague Rusty Close. We're attorneys at Troutman Pepper and you're tuned in to No Infringement Intended, our IP podcast here.

Rusty and I have been batting around this idea for too many moons it seems, and our theory is that we could teach a lot of IP concepts through pop culture.  When we go to cocktail parties and introduce ourselves as IP attorneys, this is usually the kind of conversation we end up having with real people. And those are the types of conversations that we're looking to have.

Rusty:

Yeah. I've always wondered things like, why did the WWF have to change to the WWE? Or why did Taylor Swift re-record all of her albums? And we're going to get into the IP concepts and IP law that sort of drove those business and pop culture decisions.

Austin:

We hope you'll join us and subscribe and like if you really like it. Thanks.
